Honoring our Founders - Dick Spencer

Dick, co-founder of RLHT, partnered with Edward Kfoury and many others to conserve lands around Mooselookmeguntic Lake in 1991.

Our community radio station, WRGY, reached out to dive deeper into our work, highlighting those who have contributed along the way.

We connected with Dick Spencer, who we awarded the Senator Angus King Award for Conservation Excellence in August, to follow up with an interview. Listen to the interview by clicking the play button on the right.

Our staff also found this article from 1993 featuring Dick’s role in conserving our region. It’s a gem – check it out!
